Lose That Stomach Fat Without Direct Abs Exercise

The answer to the age-old question of “What is the best ab workout for losing stomach fat?” is…

That was a trick question! There is no abs workout that alone can create enough metabolic response to create fat loss in your body! If you want to get rid of belly fat then keeping reading…

Most people who have excess fat believe that the answer to having ripped abs is to do abdominal workouts which they believe is going to burn the fat off their abs.

The thing is… they are going about the problem entirely the wrong way! You aren’t going to lose belly fat just by doing abs exercises. This is not how to get flat abs.

Allowing all of your exercise time to go to abs exercises is not going to get you to your goals of flat abs any soon. This workout plan is not the correct way to go about it. The following are some fully body exercises that would benefit you much more greatly than if you were to do just abs exercises: clean & presses, snatches, and swings.

These are the kinds of exercises that you should be doing if you want to lose that belly fat. Making a workout plan around these exercises is a great way to maximize your metabolism which we all know is very important in the burning of fat, much especially belly fat.

Now, this is not to say that you should no longer do any abs exercises at all. Rather this is a reminder to be sure to focus more on full body workouts as your time spent doing these is going to give you faster and more efficient results. When you do a full body multi-joint combo exercise workout you are in fact working out your midsection although these exercises aren’t targeted to do so.

Although we spent a lot of time on the exercises you should be doing, this is not the most important factor when trying to lose belly fat. The most important factor is your diet and nutrition. No matter how hard you workout, if your diet is full of junk, then your abdominals will be covered with ugly fat. Nutrition is without a doubt the “king of getting a six pack”.

So let’s clear this up for good… Stop spending so much of your time focusing on situps, crunches and, leg raises and all those silly worthless “ab contraptions” in your efforts to try to dev
